The Tampa Bay Lightning have traded defenceman Andrej Meszaros to the Philadelphia Flyers for a second round pick. The Flyers have also re-signed blueliner Braydon Coburn, who has committed to two years with the team at a cap hit of $3.2 million per year.
Meszaros, 24, had six goals and 11 assists in 81 games with the Lightning last season.
He was originally selected by Ottawa Senators 23rd overall in the first round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
Coburn, a 6'5, 220 pound Calgary native, had five goals and 14 assists for the Flyers last season.
He was originally selected eighth overall by the Atlanta Thrashers in the first round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
