The Buffalo Sabres have added some depth at forward.

Sources tell TSN that Rob Niedermayer has signed a one-year, $1.15 million deal with the club.

The 35-year old played last season with the New Jersey Devils and recorded 10 goals and 12 assists in 71 games played.

The 16-year NHL veteran won the Stanley Cup with the Anaheim Ducks in the 2006-07 season and has scored 181 goals and 269 assists in 1082 regular season games.
