The Montreal Canadiens locked up Maxim Lapierre for the 2010-11 season, keeping him in the fold with a one-year contract.

TSN's sister station in Quebec RDS reports that the deal will pay him $900,000.

Lapierre, 25, scored seven goals and tallied 14 points in 76 games with the Canadiens last season and four points in 19 postseason games. In 255 career NHL games with Montreal, he has 35 goals and 72 points.

The signing leaves Carey Price as the only unsigned regular for the Canadiens. The club already notified free agents Glen Metropolit, Dominic Moore, Marc-Andre Bergeron and Paul Mara earlier this month that they would not receive contract offers.
