The Edmonton Oilers can now start selling numbered Taylor Hall jerseys.  Hall will be wearing the No. 4 for the Oilers when he reports with the rookies to training camp on Friday. The most recent Oiler who wore the No. 4 - and the only other Oiler to do so - is club president Kevin Lowe.

"It's a very cool number," Hall told the Canadian Press. "It's just kind of passing the torch, you know?

"He's been a big part of this organization for a very long time and I realize that. At the same time, they feel I'm a player who can come in and make an impact. Maybe wearing this No. 4 is going to do that."

The club also announced that prospects Jordan Eberle will wear No. 14, while Magnus Paajarvi will don No. 91.

The number question was one that Hall told the Edmonton Journal that he was asked "about once a day."  In July when the Oilers had their development camp, Hall wore No. 19.

At the rookie showcase in Toronto a few weeks ago, he was the only Oiler who did not have a number at all.
