Raleigh, NC (Sports Network) - The Carolina Hurricanes on Friday signed forward Patrick O'Sullivan to a one-year, two-way contract.
The deal will pay O'Sullivan $600,000 at the NHL level, or $105,000 if he plays in the AHL.
O'Sullivan, 25, played in 73 games for Edmonton in 2009-10, recording 11 goals and 23 assists. He finished with a league-worst minus-35 rating.
The former second-round pick has 54 goals and 95 assists in 280 NHL games with Los Angeles and the Oilers.
