Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price may not be on the 2011 NHL All-Star Fan ballot, but that hasn't stopped his fans from showing their support.

Price, who was left off the official ballot last week, leads all goaltenders with 71,199 write-in votes. Flyers rookie netminder Sergei Bobrovsky sits second with 58,101, while Detroit's Jimmy Howard has received support with 31,537 write-in votes.

The 23-year-old Price has a 12-7-1 record this season with a 2.05 goals-against average, a .932 save percentage and four shutouts. For his efforts, he earned top billing in the three-star selections last week and was named the team's MVP for the month of October.

The Canadiens also have three forwards in the top 15; Michael Cammalleri (9th), Tomas Plekanec (13th) and Brian Gionta (15th). P.K. Subban is the top Canadiens vote-getter among defenceman (9th) with 41,268 and Andrei Markov (17th) with 24,140 votes.

Penguins captain Sidney Crosby and Blackhawks defenceman Duncan Keith are the leaders in the first week of voting, with 118,755 and 82,968, respectively.

Rounding out the top five in votes are Detroit Red Wings captain Nicklas Lidstrom (80,723 votes), Alex Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals (80,169 votes) and Jonathan Toews of the Blackhawks (79,953 votes).

The all-star game will be played in Raleigh on Jan. 30 with a new format. Captains will select the two teams from the pool of available players in a live draft.

Fan balloting will account for six players -- one to start at each position -- while the NHL's hockey operations staff will select the others.
