The Nashville Predators will have to do without the services of forward Cal O'Reilly for an extended period.
The 24-year old O'Reilly suffered a broken fibula during Sunday's victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets after falling awkwardly to the ice in the third period. According to the team his status will be re-evaluated on Tuesday, however they expect him to miss considerable time.
The Toronto native is enjoying a breakout campaign for the Preds with six goals and 12 assists in 37 games.
