The Edmonton Oilers will be without the services of rookie Jordan Eberle for 10 days due to a sprained ankle.

Eberle suffered the injury Saturday against Calgary when his leg appeared to buckle under him after being hit by Flames forward Ales Kotalik in the second period.

Because Monday was a statutory holiday, the Oilers had trouble securing the MRI exam until Tuesday.

The 20-year old Eberle is enjoying a solid season with nine goals and 14 assists in 36 games.
