Forward Matt Moulson has agreed to terms on a three-year contract with the New York Islanders, the team announced on Thursday.
Newsday reported that the deal is worth $9.4 million.
The 27-year-old North York, Ontario native, a product of Cornell University, is currently in his second season with the Isles.
Moulson has 17 goals and 12 assists so far this season, and last year led the team in goals with 30. He has also played 131 straight games and has never missed one as a member of the Isles.
The 6'1, 210-pound left winger was originally selected 263rd overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the ninth round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
