The Calgary Flames have lost the services of Alex Tanguay for an indefinite period of time due to a neck strain.
The 31-year-old winger wasn't at Wednesday's morning skate and following practice, the team updated his status.
Blueliner Adam Pardy also skipped the morning skate after sustaining an upper-body injury against the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday. Pardy has already missed 25 games earlier this year with a shoulder injury.
Niklas Hagman will be back in the Flames' lineup for tonight's contest against the Ottawa Senators.
