St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) - The St. Louis Blues announced Thursday that both forward Alex Steen and defenseman Barret Jackman will miss 4-to-6 weeks.

Steen has been sidelined with a high right ankle sprain, while Jackman was felled by an injury to his right index finger that required surgery.

The 27-year-old Steen posted 18 goals and 48 points in 67 games this season. Jackman, 30, registered 13 assists in 55 contests.

Prior to Thursday's games, the Blues had 69 points, good enough for only 13th place in the Western Conference. They were 10 points behind Phoenix and Los Angeles for the final playoff spot with 15 games remaining.
