St. Louis Blues forward David Perron's injury-plagued season has come to an end as sources tell TSN that the Blues have shut down the Sherbrooke, Quebec native for the remainder of the year.

The 22-year old power forward has not played since suffering a concussion on November 4th against the San Jose Sharks. He has missed the Blues' past 58 games dealing with post-concussion syndrome.

He managed five goals and two assists in 10 games before the injury after signing a two-year, $4.3 million deal prior to the season.

Originally selected 26th overall by the Blues in the 2007 NHL Entry draft, Perron has 53 goals and 78 assists in 235 career games, all with St. Louis.
