The International Scouting Services released their updated Top 50 prospects list for the 2011 NHL Draft and once again Red Deer Rebels centre Ryan Nugent-Hopkins tops the list.
The highest change in the top 10 of the April rankings is Drummondville Voltigeurs centre Sean Couturier jumping up one spot into third position.
Defenceman Adam Larsson from Skelleftea in the Swedish Elite League remains second in the rankings while Kitchener Rangers winger Gabriel Landeskog now sits fourth, falling from the third position.
Douglas Hamilton, a defenceman from the Niagara IceDogs of the Ontario Hockey League rounds out the top five, up two spots from his previous seventh position.
Nugent-Hopkins, who also holds the first spot in the TSN rankings, finished the Western Hockey League regular season with 31 goals and 106 points, good enough to tie for third overall. He also had four goals and 11 points in nine playoff games as the Red Deer Rebels were eliminated in the second round.
The biggest jump in the top 30 was made by Portland Winterhawks winger Sven Bartschi who improved his ranking from 21st to 12th in the April rankings.
Bartschi has three goals and 11 points thus far in the WHL playoffs as the Winterhawks have advanced to the Western Conference semi-finals.
