Pittsburgh Penguins forward Chris Kunitz has a 10 a.m. ET disciplinary hearing with the NHL on Tuesday for his elbow on Tampa Bay Lightning forward Simon Gagne, while Gagne's teammate Steve Downie will speak with the league right after to address his charge on Ben Lovejoy.

Downie left his feet to deliver a questionable hit on Lovejoy behind the Penguins' net during the first period of Monday's 3-2 Penguins victory. Prior to the hit, Lovejoy was able to advance the puck down the ice leading to an early goal for Pittsburgh. The goal negated the penalty Downie was set to receive.

Later in the period, Kunitz caught Gagne with an elbow, sending the Lightning forward to the ice in front of the Penguins' net.

Both disciplinary hearings will be conducted by phone.

The Penguins and Lightning return to the ice on Wednesday for Game 4 of their Eastern Conference series, with the Penguins leading the series 2-1.
