The Nashville Predators scored midway through the second overtime period to defeat the Vancouver Canucks in Game 2 of the Western Conference semi-final.

The win evens the second round series 1-1.

Matt Halischuk scored the winner for Nashville. Ryan Suter scored with just over one minute to play in regulation to tie it for the Predators and force overtime. Assists went to Joel Ward and Shea Weber.

Alex Burrows scored for the Canucks with his fourth of the post-season shorthanded with an assist from Ryan Kesler two minutes into the second period.

The Canucks won the first game of the series 1-0 on Thursday night. The series shifts to Nashville for Game 3 on Tuesday.
