ESPN NHL analyst and TSN contributor Matthew Barnaby was arrested in connection with a "domestic incident" that occurred Friday evening, according to Amherst New York police.

The former Buffalo Sabre was charged with criminal mischief, criminal trespass, harassment, criminal contempt and aggravated harassment.

Barnaby will remain in jail overnight, and will be arraigned Saturday morning.

"We just learned of this so it would be inappropriate for us to comment," said ESPN spokesperson Josh Krulewitz.
