Curtis Glencross won't be testing the free-agent market after the 28-year-old forward agreed to terms on a four-year, $10.2 million deal with the Calgary Flames.
The deal, which has a no-movement clause, is a $2.55 million annual cap hit against the club.
The Kindersley, Saskatchewan native is coming off a career season with 24 goals and 43 points in 79 games. Through four seasons in the NHL, Glencross has 142 points through 291 games played.
Signed as an unrestricted free agent by the Flames on July 2, 2008, Glencross spent time with the Edmonton Oilers, Columbus Blue Jackets and Anaheim Ducks.
