The Edmonton Oilers will be without the services of left winger Liam Reddox for the 2011/2012 season.

The five foot-eleven forward has signed a one-year deal to play with Vaxjo Lakers of the Swedish Elite League.

Reddox split time this season between the Oilers and Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League.  In the NHL, he appeared in 44 games and had a goal and 10 points for the Oilers.

Reddox, who was drafted by the Oilers in the fourth round of the 2004 NHL entry draft,  was set to become a restricted free agent in June.
