It looks like the future of the Atlanta Thrashers won't be made any clearer in the next few days.
According to sources, there will be no announcement regarding the sale and relocation of the club before next Tuesday at the earliest.
Confidentiality agreements prevent both sides from divulging the details on some of the issues that are still being worked on, but sources already told TSN earlier this week that making sure Atlanta, Winnipeg and the National Hockey League are all on board with the nuances of the deal has proven to be a very time-consuming process.
In an interview with Fox 5 News in Atlanta, Thrashers co-owner Michael Gearon said that negotiations with True North have only been going on for the last 10 days but that a deal was "about 80-percent complete."
Once an agreement has been reached, True North is expected to launch a season ticket drive.
