According to general manager Peter Chiarelli, Boston Bruins forward Nathan Horton has been fined an undisclosed amount by the NHL for a water bottle incident with a fan on Wednesday in Tampa.

A video clip of the incident following Game 6 of the Eastern Final appeared to show Horton squirting water at a fan who was heckling him. Horton then tossed the bottle at the fan before he entered the players' walkway to the dressing room.

Horton scored the only goal of Game 7 on Friday to give Boston a 1-0 victory and a 4-3 series win. Horton also scored in overtime in Game 7 of Boston's first-round series win over the Montreal Canadiens.
