The New York Islanders have signed former fourth-round draft pick Casey Cizikas to an entry-level contract.
The 20-year-old Cizikas scored a career-high 64 points for the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors in the OHL this season, and added another 19 points in the OHL playoffs and three points in the Memorial Cup before the Majors fell to the Saint John Sea Dogs in the Finals.
Cizikas was also a member of Team Canada at the Word Junior Championship, scoring two goals and adding an assist while helping his team to a Silver Medal.
Cizikas was drafted in 2009 and finishes his junior career with 203 points in 237 games for Mississauga.
