VANCOUVER -- Vancouver Canuck Mike Gillis says his team needs only minor improvements to contend for the Stanley Cup again.

The Canucks were beaten 4-0 by the Boston Bruins in Wednesday's Game 7 of the Stanley Cup final.

Canuck players and management met the media today.

Gillis says injuries during the playoffs depleted the Canucks' roster and that he hopes to add more depth this season.

Canuck goaltender Roberto Luongo says losing in the final still hurts. He says he wants to remain in Vancouver and believes the team is very close to winning a Stanley Cup.
