The Florida Panthers announced they have signed Tomas Kopecky to a four-year deal.

The 29-year-old Right Winger was acquired from the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday for a 2012 seventh-round draft pick.

Kopecky tallied 15 goals and 27 assists in 81 games for the Blackhawks last season, but was limited to just one playoff game due to an upper body injury.

The Slovakian winger is coming off a two-year deal he signed with Chicago in 2009 worth $1.2 million per season.

Kopecky has appeared in 338 games over parts of six seasons with the Blackhawks and Detroit Red Wings. He has won two Stanley Cups - with Detroit in 2008 and Chicago in 2010.

He also competed for Slovakia at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver.
