New York, NY (Sports Network) - The New York Rangers acquired forward Andreas Thuresson from the Nashville Predators on Saturday in exchange for forward Brodie Dupont.
Thuresson, 23, played in 25 total games with the Predators the past two years, and in 76 contests last season with the AHL's Milwaukee Admirals posted 14 goals and 24 assists.
Dupont, 24, logged 14 goals and 31 assists in 72 games with the Hartford Wolf Pack/Connecticut Whale of the AHL last season. He appeared in one game with the Rangers.
