The Minnesota Wild have agreed to terms on a three-year, $3.15 million deal with centre Darroll Powe.
The Wild traded a 2013 third-round draft pick to the Philadelphia Flyers on Monday for the hard-nosed restricted free agent.
Powe, 26, spent three seasons with the Flyers after signing as a free agent out of Princeton in 2007. He as one of the Flyers' best penalty killers last season and was the team's leading hitter with 196. He set career-highs in assists and points in 2010-11, registering seven goals and 10 assists with 41 penalty minutes in 81 games.
