The Nashville Predators signed forward Zack Stortini to a one-year, two-way contract worth $550,000 at the NHL level and $75,000 at the AHL level.

The 25-year-old Stortini split last season between the Edmonton Oilers and the AHL's Oklahoma City Barons after spending three full seasons with the Oilers beginning in 2007-10.

The Eliot Lake, Ont., native has suited up for 256 career NHL games since 2006-07, amassing 14 goals and 27 assists with 718 penalty minutes.

Stortini was drafted by the Oilers in the fourth round (94th overall) of the 2003 Entry Draft.
