Former Toronto Maple Leafs forward Christian Hanson
will look to continue his hockey career as a member of the Washington Capitals organization.
The 25-year-old forward signed one-year deal with the club on Monday.
Hanson played in 58 games with the Toronto Marlies last season and recorded 13 goals and 21 assists. He appeared with the Maple Leafs in six games and did not record a point.
Hanson was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by Toronto in 2009.
