Frisco, TX (Sports Network) - The Dallas Stars signed right winger Eric Godard to a two-year contract Tuesday.
The first year is a two-way deal and the second year is a one-way agreement.
Godard spent last season with the Pittsburgh Penguins, appearing in 19 games with three assists and 105 penalty minutes.
The eight-year veteran has played in 335 career games with the Florida Panthers, New York Islanders, Calgary Flames and Pittsburgh. He has career marks of three goals, 12 assists and 833 penalty minutes.
