Panthers sign C Kearns to one-year, two-way contract

Sunrise, FL (Sports Network) - The Florida Panthers signed centre Bracken Kearns to a one-year, two-way contract on Thursday.

The 30-year-old has never played in the NHL and last season with San Antonio of the American Hockey League he totaled 20 goals and 23 assists.

He has appeared in 338 AHL games and has totaled 67 goals and 101 assists along with 365 penalty minutes with Cleveland, Milwaukee, Norfolk, Rockford and San Antonio.
