Canadiens sign defenceman St. Denis to one-year, two-way deal

Montreal Canadiens have signed defenseman Frederic St. Denis to a one-year, two-way contract.

St. Denis registered five goals and 18 assists in 76 games with the AHL Hamilton Bulldogs in 2010-11.

The 25-year-old blue-liner has played 142 regular season games with the Bulldogs from 2008 to 2011, tallying nine goals and 33 assists.

The Canadiens originally signed him to a one-year contract on July 1st, 2010.
