The Devils have locked up a pair of young blue-liners according to a New York Post report.

Mark Fraser has signed a one-year deal with the club days before a scheduled Aug. 4 arbitration hearing, while Matt Taormina has accepted his qualifying offer from the club.

Taormina's deal is believed to be worth $561,000. He played the first 17 games of the season before suffering a right ankle injury forced him to miss the rest of the season. He scored three goals and two assists in that span.

Fraser's deal is worth a reported $550,000. In 26 games with the Devils last season he scored two assists and added 29 penalty minutes.
