The Phoenix Coyotes have signed forward Patrick O'Sullivan to a one-year, two-way contract.
According to capgeek.com, the deal is worth $625,000 at the NHL level, and $105,000 if O'Sullivan plays in the minors.
The 26-year-old had two goals and six assists last season in time split between the Carolina Hurricanes and Minnesota Wild. He became an unrestricted free agent when the Wild did not tender him a qualifying offer in late June.
O'Sullivan will be joining his fifth NHL club. He was drafted by the Wild in 2003 and has also skated for the Los Angeles Kings and Edmonton Oilers.
His best NHL season was 2007-08, when he had 22 goals and 31 assists in 82 games for the Kings.
