It's a case of more bad news for the Montreal Canadiens.

Forward Max Pacioretty suffered ligament damage to his wrist and while he won't need surgery, a timeline for his return has not yet been established.

Pacioretty left Monday night's loss to the Florida Panthers and was unable to return to the ice.

The 22-year-old forward has two goals and four assists in eight games this season for the Canadiens.
