The injury bug continues to bite Toronto Maple Leafs centre Tim Connolly.

Connolly missed practice on Monday and head coach Ron Wilson told reporters that the veteran is out 10 days to two weeks with an upper-body injury sustained on Saturday.

Connolly started the year on injured reserve and missed eight games with an upper-body injury but this injury is not related.

Tyler Bozak took Connolly's spot on the first line with Phil Kessel and Joffrey Lupul during Monday's practice. Matt Frattin was called up from the AHL's Toronto Marlies on Tuesday.

Connolly, who signed as a free agent in the summer, has four points in six games this season.

Goaltender James Reimer also missed practice as he continues to recover from a head injury.

Jonas Gustavsson is expected to start against the Florida Panthers on Tuesday. Ben Scrivens started the previous two, but was replaced by Gustavsson on Saturday after allowing five goals on 14 shots.

Luke Schenn was a healthy scratch for the first time since Dec. 2009 on Saturday, but will return to the lineup on Tuesday.
