Leafs sign first-rounder Percy to entry-level contract

The Toronto Maple Leafs have locked up their first round pick from the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.

The club announced on Tuesday that Stuart Percy, who was selected 25th overall, has signed a three-year entry-level contract.

The 18-year-old defenceman has three goals and 14 assists in 18 games with the OHL's Mississauga St. Michael's Majors this season.

Last season with the Majors, Percy tallied four goals and 30 assists in 64 games while posting a plus/minus rating of plus-50.
