Stars trade winger Barch to Panthers

The Dallas Stars have traded right wing Krys Barch and their sixth-round pick in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft the Florida Panthers in exchange for left wing Jake Hauswirth and Florida's fifth-round pick in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
Hauswirth, 23, has collected 12 points in 16 games this season for the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees of the Central Hockey League (CHL). The 6-5, 218-pound left wing was traded to Florida from Washington last season in exchange for defenceman Dennis Wideman and finished the year with the Cincinnati Cyclones (ECHL). In 12 games with Cincinnati, he collected two goals and two assists.
Barch, 31, has skated in 10 games this season with Dallas with 23 penalty minutes. The 6-1, 237-pound right wing played all of his 263 career NHL games in a Dallas Stars uniform, collecting 26 points and 578 PIM.
