It appears the league's leading scorer is ready to return to the lineup for the Philadelphia Flyers.

According to philly.com, Claude Giroux is expected to play against the Dallas Stars, barring any last-minute setbacks, in a game you can watch on TSN2 and TSN Mobile TV at 7:30pm et/4:30pm pt.

Giroux, who is now tied with Evgeni Malkin, Phil Kessel and Henrik Sedin for the league lead in scoring with 39 points, was upgraded to 'day-to-day' and cleared for full contact on Tuesday.

During Tuesday's practice, he rejoined his regular linemates Jaromir Jagr and Scott Hartnell and spent time on the first power play unit. It was the third straight day of practice for Giroux, who has been out 11 days with a concussion.

"I felt good," Giroux told philly.com. "It's pretty much the same [as before]. I went in the corners with 'Coby' [Braydon Coburn] and told him to hit me a little bit. And that felt pretty good, too."

This news comes one week after Flyers' defenceman Chris Pronger was instructed to take the rest of the year off due to severe post-concussion syndrome.
