One of the highest scoring lines in the league this season will be without its centre on Saturday.

The Toronto Maple Leafs placed centre Tyler Bozak on injured reserve after he tumbled into the boards during practice on Friday.

Bozak has been skating on a line with Phil Kessel and Joffrey Lupul, forming a potent trio this season.

While the nature of the injury has not been confirmed, he appeared to be favouring his left shoulder after the spill.

Centre Matthew Lombardi could be ready to take Bozak's place on the roster. The veteran forward has missed 18 games with a shoulder injury.
