Oilers recall Paajarvi, O'Marra; Brule placed on re-entry waivers

The Edmonton Oilers recalled forwards Magnus Paajarvi and Ryan O'Marra from the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League.

The 20-year-old Paajarvi was assigned to Oklahoma City on December 16 and has a goal and eight assists in nine games with the Barons. In 25 games with the Oilers this season, he had three assists.
 
O'Marra, 24, has played 34 games this season with the Barons scoring seven goals and adding nine assists for 16 points. He also has appeared in three games with the Oilers collecting one assist.
 
The Oilers also placed forward Gilbert Brule on re-entry waivers. The 25-year-old has played 27 games with the Barons this season recording eight goals and 10 assists. Brule has 81 career NHL points in 263 games with the Oilers and the Columbus Blue Jackets.
