Win and you're in.

That's all it will take for Vancouver Canucks head coach Alain Vigneault to be behind the bench at the 2012 Tim Hortons NHL All-Star Game in Ottawa.

If the Canucks defeat the Panthers this evening, Vigneault will be named one of the bench bosses for this year's All-Star Game. If they lose in regulation or overtime, it will be San Jose Sharks' Todd McLellan earning the final coaching spot.

The spot is determined by which team has the greatest points percentage in the Western Conference through Monday's games. New York Rangers' John Tortorella wrapped up the Eastern Conference's spot Friday.

Boston coach Claude Julien is guaranteed a spot by virtue of the Bruins winning the Stanley Cup in 2011. Julien will be joined by his assistants in Boston, while Tortorella and either Vigneault or McLellan will coach the other team.
