Munz: Bogosian out, Glass in as Jets host Sharks on TSN 1290

The (20-17-5) Winnipeg Jets host the (23-11-5) San Jose Sharks for their only meeting of the season tonight.

TSN 1290's coverage begins with Hustler and Lawless at 4pm ct live from the Exchange Restaurant inside MTS Centre. Rick Ralph hosts the official Jets pregame show at 6:30pm ct. Colour analyst Shane Hnidy joins me in the broadcast booth for the play-by-play at 7:30pm ct.

Ondrej Pavelec gets his third consecutive start in goal for the Jets, who are coming off a four-game road trip that resulted in just two points.

Zach Bogosian will not play due to a lower-body injury sustained Tuesday in Boston.

Tanner Glass will play despite an eye injury sustained against the Bruins. He is wearing a tinted half shield to help with the bright lights and provide extra protection for the next seven days.

Blake Wheeler is on a two-game goal scoring streak.

Toby Enstrom has one assist in his last three straight games.

The Jets are 3-1 against Pacific Division teams so far this season (Phoenix, Los Angeles, Anaheim). Winnipeg hosts the Dallas Stars on March 14.

Winnipeg has given up at least one power play goal against in their last three games.

Antti Niemi, who has started 15 of the last 16 games, will be in goal tonight for San Jose.
 
The Sharks have just one regulation loss in their last 13 games.

Patrick Marleau is on a six-game point streak (three goals and six assists). He has also scored in back-to-back games.

Joe Thornton has points in four straight games (one goal and four assists).

Selkirk's Andrew Murray will be in the Sharks line-up tonight. Murray spends his off-season in Winnipeg.

Winnipeg native Frazer McLaren will not play, but will skate in warm-up which will allow him to feel the energy inside MTS Centre.
