MONTREAL -- The Montreal Canadiens assigned forwards Ryan White and Aaron Palushaj to the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League on Monday.

White has yet to play a game with the Canadiens this season due to a sports hernia suffered during training camp.

The 23-year-old has seven points (two goals, five assists) in 43 NHL games.

Palushaj has one assist in 17 games with the Canadiens this season.

Recalled from the Bulldogs on Feb. 3, the 22-year old forward leads the Bulldogs in scoring with 28 points (13 goals, 15 assists) in 29 games this season.
