The Winnipeg Jets traded forward Riley Holzapfel to the Anaheim Ducks for forward Maxime Macenauer on Monday.
The 23-year-old Macenauer has appeared in 29 games for the Ducks this season, scoring one goal and three assists. He has also played 13 games for the AHL's Syracuse Crunch. The native of Laval, Quebec was a third-round pick of the Ducks in 2007.
Holzapfel, also 23, has eight goals and seven assists this season with the AHL's St. John's IceCaps. The Regina native is in his fourth season in the American Hockey League and has yet to make his NHL debut.
Holzapfel was a second-round pick of the Atlanta Thrashers in 2006.
