While the top 11 prospects in Craig Button's monthly TSN.ca NHL Entry Draft Rankings remained the same, some players managed to make big strides.

The highest climber in February's rankings was Prince Albert Raiders centre Mike Winther, who moved up from 40th last month into the Top 30, landing at No. 28.

Winther, has recorded 27 goals and 21 assists in 55 games.

Also moving up was Kitchener Rangers centre Radek Faksa, who moved up seven spots and now occupies No. 14.  Finnish winger Teuvo Teravainen advanced five spots to sit two spots ahead of Faksa at No. 12.

Sarnia Sting forward Nail Yakupov maintains the top spot in the ranking and hasn't lost the spot since the first ranking was released September.

Red Deer Rebels defenceman Matt Dumba, Leksand winger Filip Forsberg along with injured players Morgan Reilly and Alex Galchenyuk round out the top five.

Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds goaltender Matthew Murray was the highest ranking debut player this month, appearing at No. 42.  In 29 games this season, he's posted an 11-15-1 record with a 4.15 goals-against average.
