With the Feb. 27 NHL Trade Deadline looming, teams are making decisions on whether to buy or sell and deciding which players can make the biggest difference or hold the greatest value.

Check out today's trade rumours and speculation from around the NHL beat. And follow TSN.ca each day until Deadline Day for all the updates.

The Nash Watch

TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger reported via Twitter on Saturday that the price is too high for the Flyers (at the moment) for Rick Nash. The teams may re-engage later. James van Riemsdyk, Sergei Bobrovsky, Brayden Schenn, or Sean Couturier are believed to be part of the asking price.

Blue Jackets general manager Scott Howson was in Philadelphia on Saturday to take in the Penguins-Flyers game, and according to Tim Panaccio of CSNPhilly.com, Howson met with Flyers GM Paul Holmgren.

Not Listening

Katie Strang of ESPNNewYork.com says that Brandon Dubinsky of the Rangers is trying to ignore rumours involving his name. Dubinsky was mentioned in some reports as a key piece in a potential package that would bring Nash to New York.

Patience Pays

Dan O'Neill of STLToday.com says that the St. Louis Blues may not need to be active as the deadline nears, because they are expecting a handful of injured players to return shortly. Jason Arnott is already back, and the Blues are waiting on Alex Steen, Andy McDonald, and Matt D'Agostini.

Goalie for Hire?

Adrian Dater of the Denver Post says that Avalanche goalie J.S. Giguere might be a good pick-up for a team that needs netminding experience heading into the playoffs. Dater notes that Giguere has a small cap number ($1.25 million) and is signed through next season.
