Canucks acquire F Gordon from Ducks for D Erixon

The Vancouver Canucks have acquired forward Andrew Gordon from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for defenceman Sebastien Erixon.

The 26-year-old Gordon has two goals and three assists with six penalty minutes through 37 games this season.

In 19 games with the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League this season, he has three goals, five assists and 10 penalty minutes.

The Halifax, NS, native was originally selected 197th overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft by the Capitals.

Erixon, 22, appeared in 30 games for the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League this season, scoring one goal and seven assists with 10 penalty minutes.
