Buffalo, NY (Sports Network) - Buffalo Sabres defenseman Tyler Myers will be out for an unknown period of time and will not be available for the final two games of the regular season, according to head coach Lindy Ruff.

Myers has missed two games since taking a shot off his foot in a loss to Pittsburgh last Friday.

He has eight goals and 15 assists in 55 games this season.

Buffalo and Washington are battling for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
