Three new faces headline the Top 10 of Craig Button's latest TSN.ca NHL Draft Ranking.
The most impressive leap into the Top 10 came from Belleville goaltender Malcolm Subban, who jumped to 10th from being ranked 17th-overall in March.
Malcolm - the younger brother of Canadiens' defenceman PK Subban - has shot up Button's draft board over the course of the year. He did not crack the Top-30 until December, but has risen substantially the past two months after being ranked 22nd-overall in February.
Finnish forward Teuvo Teravainen jumped from No. 13 up to No. 7, while Swedish defender Hampus Lindholm moved up three positions to number nine.
The top six players remained unchanged with Nail Yakupov maintaining his season-long stranglehold on the number one position.
He was followed by: Red Deer defender Matthew Dumba, Leksands winger Filip Forsberg, Moose Jaw defender Morgan Rielly, Sarnia centre Alex Galchenyuk and Edmonton blueliner Griffin Reinhart, who all held their previous rankings.
March's big mover - Ottawa's Cody Ceci - slipped a little to the 11th spot after jumping all the way from the 20th position to ninth in the previous rankings.
Meanwhile, the furthest fall of the month was also the highest-profile.
Quebec Remparts forward Mikhail Grigorenko - who had held a top-10 ranking since September and is the third-ranked North American skater in the NHL Central Scouting final rankings - fell from seventh overall down to the 14th position.
The highest climber in the April rankings was Plymouth winger Tom Wilson, who jumped an impressive 12 spots, landing at No. 22.
The highest ranking debut this month went to Finnish defender Mikko Vainonen, who debuted just outside the first round at number 34. Vainonen has scored seven goals and 11 assists in 38 games with HIFK of the SM-liiga.

Craig started in the NHL as a scout with the Minnesota North Stars and stayed with the organization through the move to Dallas. He later became Director of Player Personnel, helping lead the Stars to a Stanley Cup in 1999. From 2000 to 2003, Craig served as Vice President and General Manager of the Calgary Flames and later joined the Toronto Maple Leafs as a scout.
