The Philadelphia Flyers inked a pair of prospects to entry-level contracts on Monday.

The team came to terms with right-winger Derek Mathers of the Peterborough Petes.

Originally selected in the seventh round (206th overall) by the Flyers at the 2011 draft, Mathers posted nine goals and eight assists in 65 games with the Petes this season.

The team also signed centre Andrew Johnston of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey league's Humboldt Broncos.

The 20-year-old undrafted free agent scored 29 goals and added 52 assists in 58 games with the Broncos this season, finishing as the runner-up in the league's MVP voting.
