With the NHL Draft complete, TSN Hockey Insider Bob McKenzie (@TSNBobMcKenzie) took to twitter to provide updates on many fronts.

Teams interested in Rick Nash say asking price remains high and there's no sense out of Columbus anything is imminent. Likely to be post-July 1.

---

Florida and Toronto likely two most interested teams in Roberto Luongo but believe price is too steep. Vancouver says things are progressing but seem in no rush. Just a hunch, but I would suspect Cory Schneider will sign new deal BEFORE any Luongo deal is done. Schneider negotiations ongoing.

---

I assumed when Pittsburgh made big moves to clear cap space, it was for a run at UFA Zach Parise but it seems UFA Ryan Suter is more likely the primary target. Contrary to rumours though, Pittsburgh management told me there are no plans to deal for Suter/Parise rights pre-July 1. Will take chances July 1.

---

Negotiations between the Winnipeg Jets and goaltender Ondrej Pavelec will resume now that draft is over. Getting down to the nitty gritty now. Pavelec has KHL offer.

---

The Edmonton Oilers are looking for defence in a trade but new coach is next order of business. Brent Sutter or Ralph Krueger seem to be odds-on favorite(s).

--

The Washington Capitals expect to have new coach within a week or so. Adam Oates or Mike Haviland appear to be frontrunner(s) but Jon Cooper is getting a look, too.

---

Coyotes defenceman Keith Yandle was most certainly in play for a trade, steep asking price, now looks as though Phoenix has pulled him back... for now anyway.

--

Justin Schultz becomes UFA at midnight Sunday night. blue-chip defence prospect to meet with agent(s) in Toronto on Tuesday. Will field offers Wednesday.

---

I would expect first official face-to-face NHL-NHLPA meeting/CBA bargaining session to happen by end of week, prior to July 1.
